Independence Day, June 12, 2005
In honor of Independence Day, a simple, yet traditional ceremony was held on the rooftop and penthouse floor of the eight story building of the Philippine Government on Sutter Street. The event was highlighted by the raising of a giant Philippine Flag. The very symbolic ceremony set the stage for the weeklong celebration of Independence Day in the Bay Area and the Peninsula.
