Ruben "Robie"
Perdiguera hails from the province of Rizal in the eastern part of
Metro Manila, hometown to many of the PhilippineĦs best in fine arts.
His early years exhibited his unusual talent for fine arts as winner
of various art competitions, including: Youngster Clan Art Contest,
Open Art Competition, and GSIS AAP First National Arts Competition.
He currently advises the Bigkis Sining Binangonan, a group of upcoming
artists in Rizal.

The exhibit of his works at the lobby of the Philippine Center in San Francisco portrays the simplicity and idyllic life of his hometown. His artistic talent to combine such pleasantness with a touch of the new millenium is simply striking. |
